I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of South Carolina, and I am currently on the job market. My primary research fields are public finance, macroeconomics, and spatial economics.
My research asks how the cost of living and consumer welfare differ across households and regions, and how fiscal and macroeconomic policy shapes consumption and investment. On the measurement side, I estimate demand and construct regional price indexes from large-scale scanner and household data to measure consumer prices, cost pass-through, and product variety and quality. On the policy side, I model how households and firms respond to taxation, transfers, and trade shocks, and how these responses shape aggregate consumption and investment in general equilibrium.
Here is my CV.
