I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of South Carolina, and I am currently on the job market. My primary research fields are public finance, macroeconomics, and spatial economics.
My research bridges microeconomic evidence with macroeconomic questions to understand how differences across households, firms, and regions shape welfare and the effects of government policy. On the microeconomic side, I use large-scale scanner and household data to measure how prices, cost pass-through, and product variety differ across households and regions, and what these differences mean for consumer welfare and the real value of fiscal policy. On the macroeconomic side, I build general equilibrium models with heterogeneous households and firms to study how market power, ownership, and production networks shape the aggregate and distributional effects of fiscal and monetary policy.
